The BoD of Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena approves deliberative procedures for transactions with related parties under article 53 of the Consolidated Law on Banking

At its meeting of 26 June, the Board of Directors of Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena unanimously approved the "Deliberative procedures governing transactions with related parties” under the Bank of Italy's "Supervisory provisions concerning risk assets and conflicts of interest in respect of related parties” - update 9 of Circular 263/2006 - issued in conformity with Resolution 277 of the Interministerial Committee for Credit and Savings of 29 July 2008 and in implementation of Article 53 of the Consolidated Law on Banking.  

The deliberative procedures were approved following the favourable opinion expressed by the Committee of Independent Directors and of Statutory Auditors with regard to their overall aptness in achieving the objectives set by the new supervisory provisions.
